Itinerary

Day 1 – Friday, October 17

Easton to Newark to Bogotá

• Meet at 12:00 PM at the Route 33 Park & Ride in Easton, PA

• Private coach transfer to Newark Airport

• United Airlines flight departs at 5:10 PM

• Arrive in Bogotá at 10:00 PM

• Private transfer to Hotel Boutique Quinta Bolívar, located in Bogotá’s historic Candelaria District

Day 2 – Saturday, October 18

Explore Bogotá

• Breakfast at the hotel

• Free day to explore or choose from optional activities:

  • Guided bicycle tour

  • Gold Museum or Botero Museum

  • Walking tours

  • Visit to Monserrate

  • Local shopping and café culture

Day 3 – Sunday, October 19

Free Day or Optional Coffee Tour

• Breakfast included

• Optional full-day excursion to a coffee plantation in Fusagasugá

Day 4 – Monday, October 20

Street Art and Bogotá Nights

Bogotá to Zipaquirá to Villa de Leyva

• Breakfast and check-out by 8:00 AM

Day 6 – Wednesday, October 22

Farewell

• Depart hotel at 4:00 AM for a 7:20 AM United Airlines flight to Newark

• Arrive in Newark at 2:30 PM

• Private return coach to Easton (Route 33 Park & Ride)

Guided Bicycle City Tour – $30 USD

• Includes: Tour guide, bicycle, helmet, and a fresh fruit salad

• Duration: Approximately 5 hours

• Explore Bogotá on two wheels, visiting major landmarks and learning about the city’s rich history and street life from a local perspective.

Coffee Plantation Day Trip – $50 USD

• Includes: Round-trip transportation to Fusagasugá, visits to local plantations, expert guides, and tastings

• Duration: Full day (approximately 8–9 hours)

• Notes: We will stop for meals, but food and drinks are not included

• A behind-the-scenes look at Colombia’s most famous export, from the mountains where it’s grown to the cup you sip.

Horseback Riding & Tejo – $30 USD

• Includes: Horse rental, countryside guide, traditional lunch, and games of Tejo

• Duration: Approximately 4–5 hours

• A scenic ride through the hills surrounding Villa de Leyva, followed by Colombia’s national game and a casual, rustic meal.

Day Trip to Raquirá – $20 USD

• Includes: Transportation only

• Duration: Half-day trip

Free time to explore this colorful artisan town known for its handmade pottery, vibrant streets, and craft culture.

Tips
Gratuities for guides, drivers, porters, and U.S.-based service staff will be collected as a separate group contribution during the trip. This ensures fair and flexible tipping, allowing us to recognize exceptional service as a group.
Tips for meals and drinks (including during the group dinner) are not included and are left to your discretion.
